Today is his 17th b-day, which feels kind of weird, since it wasn't that long ago that I was seventeen. But life goes on, and people do age. Now I think I understand why everyone is obessesed with the fountain of youth...anywho, I got him a couple of presents. I got him Tim McGraws Greatest hits, that's one of his favorite singers, and I got him a t-shirt that says: "Rule 37: There is no such thing as 'overkill' there is only 'open fire' and 'time to re-load'."
And it shows this big guy with all of these guns and in body armor pointing it all at a little bug that's reading a newspaper. My brother liked it, as I figured he would. What else....oh, he's getting a mountain bike from my mother. I'm sure some of you are thinking, "Why does he need a mountain bike? Florida is FLAT!" Answer: He goes to the state parks that have mountain bike paths. Other than that, there really isn't much use for it in my opinion, but it is his birthday...
I don't think we're doing anything party-like, for the most part my family isn't into parties, and that reminds me, one year, we all, including him, forgot it was his birthday. The only reason we remembered before the day was out was that my father called to wish him a happy one. That was funny. And now I do believe I am babbling again. Oh well, I shall take my leave before I make a fool of myself. But before I do, everyone wish me luck on my algebra test tomorrow, I'm gonna need it!
