I got a hairbrush stuck...

in my hair, and I had to have it in all shabbos. And then, after shabbos it took 6 hours to get it out of my hair, because my mother refused to cut my hair. I never want to smell olive oil again. I had it in my hair, and after a while, I got REALLY sick of the smell. How did a hairbrush get stuck in my hair? My mother was trying to blowdry it, but she used this small round brush, that was a little bit odd...and it didn't really work with my hair...so it was stuck in my hair for about a total of 30 hours...I don't think I'll ever use a round brush again, at least, not without a professional hairdresser weilding it. The last time I got a hairbrush stuck in my hair (yes, it happened before, but this time at least, it wasn't my fault) My mother just chopped it off, because it was right before carpool came for school, and I was only 8. Wouldn't have had the patience for her to work on my hair. Hopefully, never again. And I'll make sure not to have those brushes in my house so that my kids don't tdo that, because unlike my mother, I'm not sure I have that much patience!

ha! once my sister was brushing my cousin's hair on shabbos with a round brush and it got really badly stuck. and then my sister felt bad about it so she took the other round brush and stuck it in her own hair...and it got stuck too! so the two of them walked around for the remainder of shabbos with pillows on their heads...

Oh my wow. That hasn't happened to me in a VERY long time, and I've never had one in for that long. I'm glad you were able to get it out WITHOUT cutting your hair, though.

do you have curly hair? if you do, dont brush it unless you are in the shower and are using alot of conditioner. it preserves the curls better not to brush your hair when dry.

Nah, my hair is actually, (in 9it;s natural state) wavy and frizzy as anything...which is why I get it straightened...problem is I started using this new straightening process, but it slowly washes out of the hair. So now I need something else. I csnnot deal with my in it;s natural stae, it';s frustrrating beyond belief, and i don't have the patienced it would take.
